I made these cheesecake bites for a Valentine's Day party. Use your favorite plain cheesecake recipe and jazz it up by adding a special flavor (liquers, extracts). I crushed cinnamon graham crackers and mixed with a bit of melted butter for a little crust layer. Then mix a little sugar, water and fresh fruit for a sweet topping. Top that with fresh fruit. Pretty and scrumptious!
Holiday Fudge - Your Friends Will Love You (and Hate You) for It!
Homemade fudge over the holidays takes me back to childhood. My mom (Aunt Joan to this day still does it) made homemade fudge of various flavors around Christmas time. The stuff just melts in your mouth! This year, I made a bunch of fudge to share with friends and family. The flavors included: Chocolate, Rocky Road, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Peanut Butter.
Laura & Jon's Wedding Cake Pops
When Laura and Jon asked me to make 200 cake pops for their wedding, I'm not gonna lie, I was nervous. But I had plenty of time to experiment with flavors and get everything just right before the big day. After a series of taste tests we went with Chocolate Peanut Butter, Red Velvet Cake, Milk Chocolate Coconut, and Dark Chocolate Peppermint Patty. The pops were a big hit and it was a beautiful Napa wedding. Congratulations, Laura and Jon!
